The HTC G2 is widely believed to be the next Android phone in T-Mobile's G series or Android handsets. It is believed that T-Mobile aim to continue the success of their popular T-Mobile G1 by continuing the Android phone series into numerous more releases including the G2, G3 and more.

The recent announced from Vodafone regarding their plans to launch the HTC Magic across Europe in April, has led many industry experts to predict that T-Mobile will also release the same handset branded as the T-Mobile G2 phone once Vodafone's exclusivity period expires.

This seems to be very much plausible as early prototypes and leaked HTC documents all hint at T-Mobile bringing the HTC Magic to the United States later this, and it makes logical sense for them to want to rebrand the device as part of their G Series.
