The Samsung Galaxy I7500 phone is now available to buy from the O2 online shop. The Samsung Galaxy is the first Android phone to be released from Samsung, and also marks the first Android powered device to be available on the O2 UK network.
With its 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, impressive 5 mega pixel camera and internal memory storage, the Samsung Galaxy I7500 provides a nice change to the HTC Android phones that have been released to date. Available across a number of 18 - 24 month contracts, the Samsung Galaxy phone is available free from £44.05 a month as part of an 18 month network contract with O2. [via O2 UK Online Shop]

I love my Galaxy except for two restrictions.
1. Swapping input mode is much easier in Android than Samsung Keyboard. The phone’s firmware should give options to choose between Android and Samsung Keyboard.
2. Bluetooth file transfer in BT network is not possible.
Samsung website does not support FAQs regarding Android platform. Motorola Droid and HTC are much better to get information. How-to-guides for specific models (especially Android powered models) are essential.
Before rushing model launch, product support must be in place. Call centre does not help specific questions to Android platform.
